Day 71: León, Nicaragua

After a few bus breakdowns and a long day on a bumpy road I finally got to León, Nicaragua. There seems to be some kind of rivalry between León and Granada – latter being more beautiful and place where most of the visitors are staying. However, León has something that I didn’t find in many other places; revolutionary spirit, proud people and excellent food! This is, after all, city of Sandinista’s – red and black can be seen everywhere.

I had lots of interesting discussions with locals. Here Daniel and José were telling me how Nicaragua will rise again.

Dia 71: León, Nicaragua

Llegué a León después de un día largo en un mal camino (el autobús analizó dos veces también). León y Granada se parecen tienen cierta clase de rivalidad. Granada es más hermosa, y el lugar adonde van la mayoría de los visitantes. No obstante, León tiene algo que no encontré en muchos otros lugares; espíritu de revolucionario, gente orgullosa y comida excelente! Esto es ciudad de Sandinista - el rojo y el negro se pueden ver en todas partes de ciudad.

Tenía muchas de discusiones interesantes con los locales. Aquí Daniel y José eran diciéndome cómo se levantará Nicaragua otra vez. Aquí Daniel y José me dijeron cuál es el futuro de Nicaragua.

Nicaragua es un pais que me emociona y León me enloquece, aunque como cualquier viajero tengo mis ideas, lo que me gusta de esta ciudad es la vitalidad, la Universidad en el centro, sus gentes, su personalidad, en dos viajes he hecho algunos amigos en Granada, pero León tiene algo.... Gracias por subir esta foto...parece que centroamerica empieza a interesar a la gente, y es un lugar único en el mundo

Their background is very attractive, just full of yellow facade. You very cleverly saw it and the contrasts of clothes completes your wonderful shot in untouched, natural colors. Their poses are also very natural. Congratulations.
