A lucky shot... i was completely surprised to see the bird in the picture, it was not at all intended.

Some info on the Old Cathedral of Managua: situated in the east side of the Rebublic square in front of the fountain "Fuende Audiovisual". Rises over the Santiago church's ruins that collapsed in 1871, was inaugurated in 1938 after 7 years of rebuilding. It's a neoclassic church builds with a simple style and preserves its original structure made with iron covered by stones. It was damaged by the earthquake in 1972 and it is forbidden to get in at the moment.

In front of the cathedral there is a lovely display of photographs portraing how the cathedral looked like thru time. It is one of the few spots worth visiting in Managua.
