Sad that this qualifies as a good "daily life" shot, Mark. Your image, particularly the man's heavy load, really brings out the harshness of these people's lives.

This is a good shot, though I think it would be more impactful if you had zoomed in more on the boy and man. Also, cropping the man to the far right would highlight the boy and landfill, IMO.

Great shot Mark, sad and poignant, photreportage at a very high level. Would maybe a tighter shot on the child be a bit more touching?

Great shot, I do think you should crop it a lot more (get rid of whats on the right of the guy, and whats on the bottom of the kid)

Dear Mark,

Thank you for showing to us not only the beautiful side of life but also the cruel one, the reality existing in fact in many countries all over the world. Field of garbages, small boy and cows in the background looking for some food makes this picture so painfully real.
Have you seen many of such fields in Nicaragua?
