Photographer’s Note
I am always a little shy both of taking and of showing such photos, Seems to me a kind of exploitation. Maybe depends on the motives....
Nicaragua is a beautiful country, incredibly beautiful. It is also a colorful country. Each country has a predominant hue or color. In Nicaragua, it is yellow. Everything always seems to be tinged with yellow.
Poverty is universal. Miserable conditions are universal.
I wanted to get a shot of him just before he became mostly silhouette. But he walked faster than I could raise my camera.
I really do appreciate the comments and criticisms.

this is a very direct and non-sentimental picture of someone who has been working bloody hard in his life. he makes a really interesting and beautiful subject. for the technical side of the picture, i think i would have cropped it a bit from the left and the top, to focus more on the man.

I agree with nbj in the non-technical sense but I like this crop, showing some of the man's environment. A very interesting subject that, if handled correctly, doesn't have to exploit.
Nice work and a good note.
