Photographer’s Note
sorry, impossible for me to translate exactly.
this shot was taken in 1985 during the celebration of the 6 th anniversary of revolution.
the message is about the agriculture reform.
People claim for the property of lands and the small benefits they could have.
"MANAGUA AL DIA" could be translated by "managua today"...
I send this shot in "sepia" to give it a caractere more oldy, but really alive in the facts.

hi patrick
this photo is called like me!?
very nice, i like very much pictures that tell something, history, daily life, society, etc.
i read a wonderful book on nicaragua, social and political history of its last 30 years, written by gioconda belli and titled "paese sotto la pelle" (in english should be titled "country under the skin" o something like that..) that tells its revolution against sandinismo..
suggestion for who wants to learn something about this unlucky and beautiful country that after the largest dictature of south american history has the desire to live in peace for ever..
regards
andrea

Salut Patrick,
J'aime bien cete photo colore, je pense qui tu as fais bien de ne pas le convertir em sepia, le tons d'orange et rouge sont les elements qui attire l'attention sur pour qu'on puisse se detenir apres sur le detail du tableau.
A+

Another good documentary photograph. I love these photographs that depect social movements in various parts of the worl, and they become more interesting as time goes by as we can measure progress vs. the depictions.
Great Job.
