Photographer’s Note

Managua,during the 6 th anniversary of revolution.
Expressions of those young people are so different around the boy in the midle giving a kind of lesson about changing munitions...
An intelectual with big glasses more involved ,i think,in doctrin,the guy in the middle who stays astounded and the girl on the right who seems more sad than exited.
At this age,we look for an identity.

how many times do we see kids getting mixed up in these kind of things. Doesn't matter which continent does it. Expendable maybe, I don't know. A haunting image of days gone by.

An image whose subject matter is repeated today in Burma among other places. In fact, one can ride a subway to spots in NY to see this type of display if one knows where to look.

This is what I mean about thought provoking. It's straight photojournalism and it is good.

Unfortunately I don't know much about that specific time and place. I do know that kids and guns is not a good combination. Those big Ray Ban on that little Tony Montana kid is a cool look nowadays. The picture definitly is a story. TFS, Gilbert
