These brilliantly painted buildings are typical of this beautiful colonial city on the shores of Lake Nicaragua. The quaint, cobbled streets are filled mostly with pedestrian traffic and as many horses and carts as cars. Punctuating the sky are the spires of glorious centuries-old churches or the more distant volcanic peaks of the region, and always there are the cooling breezes that waft in from the lake. It all combines to create an idyllic place.

Hello William, We rather rarely see photos from Nicaragua so it is very interesting. Nice elevated POC so we see mainly roofs but we can imagine how narrow is this street. The pastel coloured houses with ironwork look very nice.

This is a nice shot with things to see. The sky is a little burnt but nothing serious. The colors are natural.

Unusual to see photos from this place. I was there in 2003 and I can say that it is beautiful.

Hi William, Nice perspective to show all these beautiful rooftops. The houses are so colourful painted like they are those in cartoon. Well management of the light. Best regards
