Photographer’s Note

The Appleton Estate Rum Factory in Jamaica.
The economy of Jamaica centuries ago was based on sugar cane for the sugar itself and also for the rum made from fermented and distilled sugar.
Cane is much less farmed now because of cheaper sugar from other sources, but rum is always in demand.
The Appleton rum estate and factory is one of those remaining and a tour there is highly recommended for visitors to Jamaica. Lovely countryside, interesting tour, and lots of different types of rum to sample.
I liked the synchrony of the skin and hair tones and colours in this lovely lady and those of the rums in the poster.
This picture is shown on TE with her permission.
