Photographer's Note

The waterfalls of Ys (speak wy-es)are a beautiful series of falls together forming a fiune swimming pool and adventure park. It is easy to reach by stepping in a bus; infact it is not possible to go there on your own. Most people come on an excusrion from Montego bay or Ocho Rios, the places to avoid in Jamaica.
Somehow they are a tourist trap but a beautiful one.

There is a lot secret beauty in Jamaica. This is also great one with many levels and many small water falls in harsh greens. Colors are very nice. Congratulations.

Well composed image of the waterfalls. The vertical format was the perfect choice to enable you to include the series of cascades as far as the eye can see. The U shape in the tree tops works well in the background. Well done

Very nice POV, Gerrit! The exposition is also good, giving some nice motion to the water, but still keeping it to this world. (when the exposition is longer, the silk effects send the picture to another world, surrealist.)

Beste Gerrit,

U heeft veel mooie plaatsen aangedaan in Centaal Amerika.
Echt plaatsen waar men kan van houden.
Schitterende waterval, lang en toch zeer diept met een perfect perspectief.
Het water komt zo zacht uit het groen op het einde, zeer mooi foto werk.

Wonderful tropical scene with the three falls moving gracely through this lovely landscape. The turquoise water contrast beautifully with the white foam and golden rocks. Excellent details and sharpness to this beauty.

Hi Gerrit, The vertical composition is faultless, the view up stream creates great depth, although the light looks a little bright to me, you have still managed if fairly well, very well composed, kind regards Wilson.

Beautiful clean water. Depth is great from this POV we see the series of cascades right upto the BG. Vertical format is perfect here. Like the V shaped opening of the sky. Good work!
