Dag Gerrit,

Toen ik oppervlakig naar deze pelicaan keek dacht ik dat een kustwerl was en geen echte.
Maar toe ik uw nota las wist ik voldoende.
De houding was zeer goed voor de foto en 15 m kunnen naderen is al heel wat.
De bek en het oog is duidelijk en dat is zeer belangrijk.
Goed gedaan, bedankt!

LOL, it really gives that impression that the pelican is watching into your lenses and starring into my eyes too. The bird was probably aware that you're one of those crazy species of TE member and that this shot wold go around the globe. Nice details on the feathers and good that you achieved the blurr of the background to undo any competition between the main subject and the backdrop.
