Photographer’s Note
This shot is of what appeared to be a typical shop in Negril, Jamaica. They did have large supermarkets but this sort of thing was far more common, usually selling home-grown fruit, eggs and bread. While out walking, we were often approached by locals trying to get us to come to their shops to buy some of these items, and we were also offered some more unsavoury items.....

i like this photo, but where's the salesman or -women ;) i like such shops, you arrive they welcome you as good old friend and help to buy something more that you would like ;)

Very good picture, Andy! The angle you chose to shoot it was perfect. I think it is great a salesman is absent as the picture doesn't need one. Now there is a sort of loneliness present. You really have a keen eye as for what makes a nice composition. You surely don't shoot the regular holidaypics. Well done! I like the different colors (because of the signs) but I have the feeling the colors were more bright in reality. Due to scanning?
You did buy some of the unsavoury items, right?
