Photographer’s Note
Third in a series along southeastern Jamaica's St. Thomas coast (see note June 26, 2009). In spite of the offshore reef, where waves are breaking, the shoreline is highly vulnerable. This lone seagrape tree is hanging on in the face of accelerating erosion. Taken near Rozelle and the Rozelle Falls (June 29, 2009).

- Superb beach Mary, beautiful sea colour, very true, almost bicolour atmosphere in blue and green, good idea for the curious little tree, I like lonely trees broadly speaking, anyway, bravo, it's successful!
Have a nice weekend.

Hi Mary
the light and the colors (especially the blue of the water) are fantastic and it is not only the atmosphere of the seaside that makes this impression very attractive, it is the mood created by the lonely tree. This is the Carrribian in a nutshell. TFS!
Warm regards
Harriet
