Photographer’s Note

The southeast coast retains the open views and natural character that used to be found in most parts of Jamaica. The brown/grey sandy and stony beaches, the difficult road access and the particular vulnerability of this corner of the island to storms and hurricanes have all restricted conventional tourist development. Hopefully, this has bought time for the area to benefit from the more sustainable value of alternative forms of tourism

It's good that you can show us a different side to a popular tourist destination. I like the way you have composed the image so that there is a series of interlocking triangles whose diagonals make for ease of viewing. I can just imagine walking along that coastline enjoying the views.

The road has been used well as a lead-in. It's interesting & refreshing to see an almost natural shore line here, though I don't see much evidence of a beach. The clouds in the sky are excellent adds. Nice shot from a lovely place
