Photographer’s Note
My previous post focused on the attractiveness of the flowers of this alien (Mexican) invasive vine, Antigonon leptopus. Today, I offer another shot that shows how the leaves can smother other plants.

Hi Mary,
Your well-composed photo has very nice balance with the curve of the alien vine and its shadow well displayed against the green of the native plant. The bee and the light through the leaf offer additional attractions and all are cptured with excellent light management. The photo also documents your note well.
