Faces of Jamaica
 |
|
| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
Who of us have not heard about Bob Marley? He represents everything what is Jamaican: music, style of living, approach to life, love towards Africa.
Most of the people you meet there are like The Legend: friendly, open, music-freak and ganja-funs (some of them).
The rasta on the photo being a craftman carves wooden pots, cups and other funny things selling them stright on the street. The white thing between his fingers is an inseparable element of his work.
I loved the island. Yeah man, respect. But beware:
Too much callaloo mek peppa-pot bitta (Jamaican proverb). |

This fellow is cool, a real Bob Marley type.
ANd I wonder what the Jamaican proverb you wrote at the end means (As I see it is half English)...
Hi Jurek,
sehe dass du mit echten Jamikanern zu tun hast :)
