Photographer’s Note

Aside from Winnifred Beach, not far from Port Antonio, is a lush area with, a creek, some tropical marshlands and hills full of fruitbearing trees.
And there is the broad curve of Winnifred Beach, here just visible on the left. A place to long for when the winters reaches its last month.

Olá Gerrit, excellent framing of the lonely boat in a nice busy image with many details to find around, including the beach seen in the distance. It seems a wonderful place.

A good capture of this tropical corner. The little stream makes a good lead-line towards the solitary boat. Good colour contrasts and fine clarity.

The little creek leads us through the trees nicely to the little boat framed perfectly by those same trees. There is a wonderful range of blues in the water, and the glimpse of beach gives us a sense of place. Well spotted

The color and brightness shows more of a hot climate which is not unlike Malaysia. I agree this will be a good escape from winter cold. Even though your POV shows only a little of the water, but it can be seen the emerald/green color of the water. Good shot.

Harstikke leuk zo'n kijkje tussen de bomen naar dit tropische strand. Super-relaxed en gehuld in prachtige kleuren, zou ik ook graag naar zo'n verlaten orde per direct willen verkassen. Als ik heel eerlijk moet zijn : dit winter duurt mij nu alweer een beetje te lang... Nog een fijne dag, Gerrit. Ik zie je gauw,
