[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Yes, it's noisy, yes, it was getting dark, and yes, the fishermen wanted to get back home before the next squall came in.

In only a few feet of water it needed the skill that these guys have to swivel their boat round quickly so as to prevent the propeller from grounding. After all, a bent prop is a problem. But these seafarers are used to the turbulent waters, used to dodging underwater corals and rocks, and used to tricky situations at sea - and for most of the time, they are used to using their engines to quickly get them out of trouble.

Like this action shot, dark silhouettes doing their thing, birds following them. Great colors, the noise fits well. Excellent.
cheers,
CT

Wonderful capture full of energy and life!
The noise in my opinion gives force and dramatism needed for your capture, well done!
Thanks for sharing.
Best Regards.
Manuel

Hi Casper, the noise is not really a problem for me - rather that than no shot at all! This is really packed with energy as the guys struggle to steer their craft through the surf. I especially like the way the red of the boat and the white of the surf cut through the rather bleak looking sea & sky. This was obviously a very fruitful trip.

Best regards, Roberto

olá,
great capture! colors are quite beautiful and the sensation of movement is also good. all the noise creates an interesting texture in this photo. cheers

Hello Casper,
Honnestly one of the best shots I've seen around lately, and I think this grain is fundamental here to create the atmosphere, this fact and the strong dark colours of the photo.
Also the motion feeling coming from the photo helps to create a feeling that this men's work is very, very harsh.
Congratulations, you have here a photo that I really like.
Cheers.
Paulo

Beautiful shot!
You can feel the action, force of the wind.
Well done!

Hi Cassian!
Well, as a fisherman like you I also love to spend lots of times watching the waters... any water! So here you give us this nice capture, with lots of action and the amazing boat passing across the waves. Very nice shot! The strong work on pp makes it a little bit surreal, like a paint, impressive.
Regards,
Zeca

Hello.

Artistic pfoto with great composition!

Best wishes!

Excellent photo, full of power and sense of impending doom, right down to the birds flying in from the sea away from the dark clouds.I love it! M

Hello Casper, intersting and dramatic scene captured. I like the noisy in this photo and colour tones. Exploring the variations to compose the scene (photographer vision).
Great photo!
George
