Ik ben eechte Coca Cola drinker, dus deze Pepsi tent is dan ook niet aan mij besteed ;-) Leuk he dit soort mensen die saai de dagen voorbij zien gaan zonder enige activiteit en zich heerlijk lopen te vervelen. Mooi opgezet in de manier hoe de vrouw kijkt...leuke plaat.

Une photo pleine d'humour. Une bonne image de vie quotidienne avec l'intérieur de ce petit magasin. Pas beaucoup d'article et pas forcément de sourire, mais sûrement plus de vie que dans un supermarché!!

Je ne puis m'empêcher de sourire en voyant cette femme tenant le magasin ! son attitude est très cool ! les affaires ne doivent pas être florissantes, à moins que celle-ci attendît un car de touristes.

Bonjour Guerrit, en lisant ta note tu décris l’endroit comme amusant, alors que là en voyant le regard et l’attitude décontractée de la femme, l’on croirai quelle va s’endormir debout, c’est très surprenant comme photo de portrait, outre le portrait se serai plutôt les yeux qui sont titré et ne demandent qu’a s’endormir, très belle scène de vie quotidienne, bien amicalement

If it's true, then this bored, resigned look must be reserved for foreigners with a camera.Anyway, she looks like a bird in a cage- those cages where one puts bright objects to amuse the occupants. il manque un peu de reggae alors pour donner à la scène une alllure plus festive. Ce ne doit pas être marrant de tenir ce genre de commerce, tout dépend des relations avec les clients.

hello Gerrit

Interesting shot during your travel to this sundry shop. In rural places, the business is very often family run and the work is just part of income earning while also to pass the time. Business such as this has no target sales pressure, nor any other factor, simply enough income to make a living, not really into making a lot of money.

Perhaps this type of work is not as fun as photography but at least they will be comfortable at home ground.

Fun? I can't see any fun here but a huge bored face of a lady that is almost ready to fall asleep ... I guess she needs to have some Pepsi to wake up and be more communicative and catch the attention of people that get into the store. Great and funny daily life scene!

Nevertheless this is a nice portrait with her funny face and attitude well framed in the middle of the busy background of the store.

lol. the expression on that shop assistant's face says anything BUT excitement... she might as well be a good representative for soviet time supermarket merchant's from 1970-s: full of contempt for customers :)) but yes, lack of customers would be the reason too. that aside, a very realistic, down to the earth capture. i like it, friend. i remember similar stores from my bahama trip of the last year.
