...for a 4x4, that is. We were in a caravan of 4x4's. The drivers were constantly racing, trying to get in front of each other, usually driving off the road and around. If one got too close behind another....well, you can imagine what happened, looking at this picture.
The dirt or mud is red, due to a high bauxite content, we were told.
(I put a cropped version in the workshop. Which do you like better?) |

Hello Gayle,
The mud looks really attractive, as long as I don't have to walk through it. Very nice contrast between the red road and the green surroundings. I prefer this version to the cropped one, because the trees frame the picture nicely and I get more "breathing space" in this one.
Best wishes,
Gert

I think I like the uncropped version most. These trees are gorgeous!!! Amazing red mud. Fantastic color! I love this. Thanks!

Beau travail.
Félicitations!...

Hello Gayle,
a very natural setting. The earth path acts as a leading line guiding to the intrended subject. The trees in the environment give the sunny background a cooling effect. Nice POV with interest to the the greens. Great colours - green and red
