Great combination of red and green. I would try to change the point of view the let the pistil go beyond the spot of the flower and include the shadow to the composition. Well done.

Nice color and shadows. Also the flower appears mysterious because of the lighting. For fun, I did a workshop. (application of what i learned from greg)Hope you don't mind.
