[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Ms.Cindy MacIntosh, born March 25, 1900. I had the honour to sit and chat with Ms. Cindy who was very proud to tell how she never married, bore no children, bought her own land in 1929 and raised numerous godchildren. She related a story of a self detirmined social activist who help to build a school & church in her rural community of John Austin and making sure her large family was literate. She was also famous for making true rolled chocolate candies from her coco farm, a successful buisness woman. She still walks 1/4 miles a day and up to the age of 95 had 20/20 vison and walked 1 mile a day as her doctor prescribed. She lives in her original house with a 70yr. nephew who helps with her daily needs.

Wow, she really looks annoyed :)

She may be 103 but she still looks a fiesty bird. I wouldn't want to upset her. Nice to see her in a natural environment although I feel the image is a little dark. It will brighten up quite easily but for some reason I can't post a WS at the moment.
Great notes.

Agree with Torbjorn - that is some expression. Do you have any portraits of her? She has a face that would be great for close up - in fact she is the perfect subject for portraiture. It looks like she is saying "I've seen more than you ever have girl". A good photo capture when the photo seems to say so much about her personality. She, however, looks thoroughly unamused.

An other interpretation of the old age. Mortimer.

Your notes are great Jean and I really like the expression you have shown us. She doesn't look like a person you would want to end up on the wrong side of. Probably that is part of why she has lived to such an age. Technically, I think you could burn in a few more details in the face. Your note and your photo are exactly the kinds of things I like so much about TE.
