Shadows in the street Photo

Photographer’s Note

When I got out of my hotel early in the morning, I saw this man walking down the street. Still on the doorstep, I immediately took the picture, because the shadow was getting shorter.

Hello Boris,
nice picture. But it's almost a W&B picture !
The background is maybe too bright (?). I find that the contrast is too strongh between the back and the front, the back almost white and the right side of the picture almost black.
anyway i like it

Beautiful shot Boris. Like Laurent said, almost B&W, which makes it very attractive. Nice compo, I love the texture on the floor. I would maybe have added some contrast but that's personnal. Thanks for sharing.

Beautiful shot, the mood created because of the over-exposure at the top of the picture is wonderful, hazy, lazy shadows on textured streets!

Hi Boris,
like a lot conbblestone streets and th elong shadows in your image with the wires adds a lot to your image. Personally I add a little more of contrast to give more impact at the shadows... nit picks of course.

Hi Boris,

I think that this picutre transmitts a particular sense of peace and reflects the village atmosphere and its daily life.
I like it for these reasons, moreover, with the shadows and the strong light at the end of the street it seems that the men are walking to a special destination or condition.
