[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I was on assignment in Honduras and spent a day on the islets of Cayos Cochinos, a protected zone where the Garifuna people live. They're the descendents of Caribbean native people and shipwrecked African slaves living mostly on a subsistence basic. This young girl didn't say anything and just stood there with the nicest smile, probably wondering who I was and where I was from.

this is a very cute shot. innocent.. i love the cat on the girls t-shirt and red color of the wodden wall in the background! i just wish the photo was more broad, so that i could see more...:)
