Street scene in town centre. I know this kind of street photography is not appreciated here so much, but ...

but ... I do like it too!
Fab' colours for a nano-second of life captured into eternity.
Excellent expressions of the people on the side-walk.
I'd love to see a smaller shadowed zone, on the left and bottom sides of the pic. though.

something beautiful here. love the dynamic element here, rush hour nicely frozen in a frame. the yellow walls look superb for a backdrop.
pity about the shade in the fg, which has taken off some of the better things from the frame.
cheers'

I think I can't be suspected of not liking these kind of contrasted street images, Swiatek but I must say that I also reckon it lacks something.
Of course I love the high contrast and your care about the highlights but I can't find enough rythm to it , perhaps due to a weak right hand side. I wonder whether you shoudln't have concentrated more on the central scene (square format?).

Well, I am of those who likes this kind of photo.
Not only by the light, the contrast of the colours... also there is something more.
Is the way as you capture the daily life of this people.
Thanks for share.

i don't believe those colors are really that yellow! tell me your secret! do you repaint everything in PS? or do you really find those amazing colors everywhere you go?
your shots and colors are so linked to one another for me! I love it!
Eric
PS: I do not know what will be the reaction of TE members to this street shot, but knowing south america a little bit, it does express for me the way local people travel, using those minibuses called caritos in venezuela or jeepneys in manila. And this shot is showing this to all who never travelled in those parts of the world. So it is worthwhile showing it!

hej Swiatek. A good, ordinary scene, it is fine material for street photography but seems to lack something that would spice it up some, make it stand out from a snap shot.

Ahh, another of those Webbian visions...strong light and shadows, shadows enhancing the background activities. Excellent.
