Photographer’s Note
Boy from the mountain village of Hinche. A friendly and lovely place, like most of Haiti. The boy took a very serious pose for the camera, but was pretty cheerful afterwards.

Hello Nana. Which for a serious and impressing Portrait. The boy does not look lucky and its eyes to look sadly. And nevertheless the view is into the camera directly, - and perhaps also something demanding. The boy has a face that one keeps in memory. An unusual and photo worth seeing. Best regards, Wolfgang.

Dear Nana, this picture has a lot of charme and feelings. I think this is because the interactions between the photographer and the photographed object can be understood by the viewer of the picture. The same can never be achieved a hidden camera shot.
