Photographer’s Note
Concert photography is something I haven't tried before, but not so long ago I found myself at a concert with a camera, so gave it a try. All a bit experimental, for me at least.
The concert was the weekly performance of RAM, a Haitian 'racines' - worldbeat - group. The leader of the band is also the owner of the monumental Hotel Oloffson, made famous by Graham Green in his 'The Comedians', and by being the loveliest specimen of gingerbread architecture in Port-au-Prince. RAM gives a free concert every thursday in the hotel lobby.
