Photographer’s Note

This photo was taken from a location known as dragon rock. The ship peaking over the hill is Royal Caribbean's Voyager of the Seas. Labadee is a part of Hispaniola, and located on a remote peninsula on Haiti's northern coast. Hispaniola is the name Christopher Columbus gave the entire island shared between Haiti and the Dominican Republic. Columbus chose this very secluded spot located along the north coast of Haiti to take a well needed break from his voyages to the New World. Today only Royal Caribbean ships can call here.

Very nice pov, with the road seeming to go to the ship, which looks like being on land.
Too bad for the color of the sky and the low sharpness, but I guess you couldn't control neither of those issues.

Hi Asa, i'm discovering your gallery and there are some nice shots, perhaps better than this one i'm commenting ... but i'm so attracted by this so poor country, haiti, its history and each time i see a picture from here i can't resist leaving a comment.

Sorry I didn't visit the dragon rock, but you got a good shot from that point. I walked around through the different beaches and got some pictures. The place is nice but not much to see. TFS.
