This woman was carrying several turkeys and some chickens on her head. Her hands are full of them as well. She walked swiftly through the crowded streets of Port au' Prince with dignity and grace.

get out of here! i've never seen anything like this! i see why you snapped! now, your next mission is to find her again, chickens and all, but approach her from the front this time, ask her to stand in front of a good background, and go crazy. take a ton of pics.
of course, you'll have to go to haiti again, but think of the other photo opportunities that are waiting for you there...

Superb portrait of a Haitain woman, with all the grace, dignity and sorrow yet it is a very funny picture, or title?

Incredible capture! You see African women carrying heavy things on their heads. But I have never seen a picture of one carrying at least 5 turkeys!! The woman is in the shade, but it kind of puts her " hat " to light!
