One of the two pillars found at the Sans-Souci palace entrance gate, a Unesco world heritage site. It was the royal residence of king Henri I, queen Marie-Louise and their children. The construction started in 1810 and was completed in 1813. It is located in Milot. The Sans-Souci palace also includes a printing shop, garment factories, a hospital, schools and a distillery chapel. Scanned shot. Source : wiki

Interesantan tekst o arhitekturi ...
Dobar snimak, lepo pokazana stara arhitektura.
Ostajurusevine i secanja.
Prijatno vece i lepa noc, sve najbolje.

Old stuff but show well the ancient ruins, Miguel.
Actually before red the note I thought this was even older than 200 years.
Well scanned photo, good POV over.

An interesting building, but it looks too decayed for a world heritage site. Maybe it received that status to protect it from futher deterioration. It is still fine but it must have looked glorious once upon a time.

Like Ike, I too thought this was older than it is, it has the feel of Roman ruins to it, with the monumental pillars behind it. Very fine colors across the scene too, greens, blues and earthy browns.
I wonder, having read your last note if this place too was destroyed in the earthquake? I sure hope not.
All the best

A nice shot here with very good colors and a perfect perspective. It seems the area is considerably large but you have composed the part of the ruin in a very compact square frame.
Very well taken and presented.
