[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Lago Yaxhá means "The Green Lake" in Mayan. The lake is located a few hours jeep ride from Flores in Petén. This place was not long ago completely unknown to tourists, but then one of the teams from the show Survivor: Guatemala, kept their camp at the lake near the pyramids of Yaxha. The place is still rarely visited comparing to other sites in the region, so you can almost count on you'll be staring at the lake and the pyramids all by yourself.
