| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
| Antigua is an old city in Guatemala, very close to Guatemala City. It's a place where most people go to study Spanish and the deals are good - One problem though here, is that you'll end up spending most of your time with other foreigners, as this is the real "Gringo-City" of Guatemala. More recommended for studying Spanish is Quetzaltenango in the Western Highlands. Antigua, however, is for sure a very beautiful city with old ruins, beautiful churches, varied indigenous cultures, great handicraft markets and the many spectacular (and some smoking) volcanoes surrounding the city. |
