I flew from Los Angeles to a Guatemala city the air route spending three time. The capital of this country seen from the window of the airplane is a plateau country of above sea level about 1500m to which all sides were enclosed in the mountain. Here is a city in eminent Central America.
It was crowded to both sides with the family type shops and a lot of people as shown in the city center. There were Executive Office of the President and a church in coming off of the town. There were Executive Office of the President and a church in coming off of the town.
And, a lot of roadside stands where the cloth and the craft goods that succeeded the tradition of ancient Maya were sold had gone out to a plaza wide in which being ahead of that.

A classic picture, you have made a wonderful job of restoring this. You are so very fortunate having this and I really envy your discovery. Its fun looking back in time, a hustle and bustle of this city centre and the view point is lovely displaying the day to activity. I like the treatment in warm light, I think the toning work you've done has worked really well. I like the oldie look, the dresses and faces well depicting the time gone by. Excellent work with the aging treatment and good archiving. Well done.

Great picture of everyday life with a very dynamic, it seems that everyone is on the street. Controlled chaos, very well captured with very good quality after scanning.

Not the easiest city to photo - in my memory Guatemala City is a bit of a dump - but you have got a perfect Central American shot - busy, full of people and lots of colour. Nice work, thank you, Iain
