Photographer’s Note
As I've mentioned before, Guatemala is a land of colors. This is yet another example. This photo was taken in a traditional graveyard, in one of the Maya villages around the Atitlan lake. Each and every tomb is painted in vivid colors. They are meant to express hope for the salvation of souls.
