[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Once a week, on Friday, there is a big market in Sololá. But this market is not for the tourists (like in Chichicastenango) but rather a local affair.

Nicely dressed up locals come from all the surrounding villages to do their shopping, and to sell some goods, like these women on the picture. Although they don't have an official stand on the market, many things (mainly vegetables) get sold from the covered baskets they carry. The woman at the right is just selling a bag of vegetables to a man outside the picture.
Many of the women bring their children along to the market

You have captured different poses of people in their colorful costumes. Though the part of the child is a little "washed out" you composed it nicely.
