Photographer’s Note
I have been buying paintings from this girl and her father at their gallery for a number of years in Santiago Atitlan. She gave me a wonderful smile this year and I managed to get her to pose with a backdrop of textiles. It is great to see the young people's interest in retaining their way of life and dress. A true Mayan Princess!
