Photographer’s Note
A few shots taken during the hike up Volcan de Pacaya. The exposure didn't exactly come out right, with the clouds being too bright, but the more I look at it the more I like it. The clouds look like they were painted. Anyway, it brings back good memories from a great morning hike.

Beautiful picture, John. For those who wanted more background, I have lived in Guatemala for 3 years, just a few kilometers away from Pacaya volcano, that stands only kilometers away from the Capital city, close to Amatitlan Lake. It's an active volcano, that is continuously in slow eruption. Often, at night, you can see the summit glow. Pacaya is a must see for anyone travelling to Guatemala. Sadly though, it's usually a pretty risky hike, because of ladrones (robbers).
