Photographer’s Note
A huge crowd was gathered outside La Igesia de la Merced for the exit of one of the huge Semana Santa processions that Antigua is famous for. While waiting, I began snapping photos of people in the crowd. Many were there due to their religious devotion, while others are their for the interesting culture and color of this special festival. This young woman is the first of several that I thought interesting enough to post.
