Photographer’s Note
I've always been a bit reserved about photographing people, as I do not like making them feel like they're in a zoo or an object; Thus this is one of the rare photos with people in it.
This was taken in San Marcos, Lake Atitlan in Guatemala. Traditionally clothing like these sarongs can be seen every where in the country.

I agree with you, on your reluctance to photograph people, but this one is a great exception. I love the colors here. They seem quintessentially Central American. I like how their smooth black hair contrasts with all the color and texture in the photo. Really well done!

Hi Natasha, I really like the scene you have composed, with the decoration on the wall and the women in front. They look a little soft, perhaps. cheers, Steve
