Semana Santa or Easter week is likely the most important event during the year in Guatemala. During that week processions take place all over the country on every single day. This picture was taken in Xela. The girl was leading the procession.

This is a beautiful and striking picture. I actually like how her eyes are caught closed, making her look more like a little Guadalupe (Virgin Mary). The detail is clear and sharp, thanks for sharing! -Lara

j'adore ces processions de semaine sainte,mais ta photo est rès caractéristique et originale à la fois.
LA banderole ace le christ est très "kitch" et j'aime aussi le gamin derriere en costume cravate,un vrai petit "macho"!
