still in the famous Chichicatenango (Chichi for short) market (other posts from the market are here); we had wandered to tourist-empty part where the market serves its true purpose - to buy and sell vegetables, grains, yarns, natural dyes, spices and all kinds of meat and meat products. the light was very difficult for me, the market mainly consist of narrow alleys, which means extreme contrasts between light and shadows. but these contrasts also created interesting patterns of light, I tried to capture some of them. I left the woman intentionally in the shadow, since I wanted to focus more on the strings of sausages.

One of the motivation in my trips is a tasting of local food. I'd like to taste Latin food, no doubt. Original composition, I like your idea, when this woman stands in shadow. The interesting note too.

this is funny, beacause this morning, I was speaking about Guatemala with one colleague,She was telling me that she had liked very much this country, and this evening, I find a critique from you, and you had this last post. Do you think that it's a sign that I have to go there?
You know, this is exactly the kind of picture that i like, showing the life. You say that the light was difficult, but you have perfectly managed the contrast between the sunny part and the shadow, and the result is very good. And this is very well framed too.
