| I was honored to spend a week in Santa Avelina, San Juan Cotzal, El Quiche during January. I was working with teachers in a school, who had a computer lab and digital cameras. I enjoyed seeing the tide turn and observing indigenous people taking pictures of us and their town. They wer using the technology to learn to publish text books in their own language, Ixil. |
