C'est la vue qu'on avait du haut de la montagne au sommet de l'ile. C'était absolument fantastique.

That was the view from the top of the hill. it was fantastic.

hallo Claude

the burned spot at the right is not enough to distract the viewer from that beautiful place. The port looks too crowded witha ships!!!

Regards sotirios

Pff those ships are really huge! Few times the houses, and then lying with four of them in such a small bay. Incredible, a traffic jam on the water, so it seems! You've taken it well, great high POV and also good composition. Also the colour is nice and natural. What I like less is that the photo appears a little soft, not so sharp. I don't now how it came, by 1/640th you don't need any Shake Reduction. By far most lenses perform best at F8 or F11, maybe by using those diafragms you could gain some more (corner) sharpness.

It's weird that the info here says Camera : Pentax K100D, while More Photo Info says Canon Powershot G2. I think a K100D would give a better result here.
Sharpen it up and the photo will be great. Maybe if you return there sometime..bring the K100D ;)

Les soirées bien arrosées sur les navires de croisières et les réveils embrumés font se tarabuster les souvenirs... Il ne s'agit aucunement de Grenade, mais de la baie de Charlotte-Amélie dans l'île yanquie de Saint-Thomas...
