Photographer’s Note
Beaches are always full of surprises. The beautiful volcanic black sand beaches in El Salvador are no different. This marine surprise was waiting for me there, after having drifted with the current who knows from where or since when.
This shot was taken in the San Blas beach near La Libertad. This area has very good surfing beaches.

So delicate and beautiful. I just imagine the waves going back, with their beautiful sound, and arriving again , what we call in France the "ressac", and this beautiful shell, moving just a little bit, but staying there anyway. A little detail that you highlighted. Geraldine

Afrodite born in the sea foam at the Cyphrus banks?
Such a beauty is hidden in that small white shell.. made with the most precious china.. So sensual in the company of transparent water and black sand..Like your capture a lot :)

I really like the depth-of-field effect on this one, the shell is ideally soft and you can almost guess the movement of the waves.

Spectacular find and the composition is really nice; from the details of the sand grains to the wave foam leading the eye to the shell with a lovely, off-center placement.
Good work!
