... and you think that the post before this one made me waste time and dig deep into my bag of tricks... this was worst... no more counting time, it was the image vs me. The way I saw it in my mind and the result. Almost gave up more than once... yet still not sure that this one is ready for you, what do you think?
I was here at the salt mines for a few minutes, maybe 20, just enough light to capture a few shots, the camera and the lens were dirty from shooting at a desert near by.
Hope you like these small series and the forum it started. I certainly enjoyed both.

The usual LAB and curves technique, then created 3 different layers from the RAW file with different exposures for the sunset, the sky and the building, and blended. HDR trick didn't work the color range was @#$@ed-up.

Hola Enrique.

Un fuerte abrazo.

Hola Enrique
I love the POV, wide angle, and the HDR-like effect you got here. There is nothing missing, the result is a perfect exposure for a sunset photo.
Excellent job

Hi Enrique,

Excellent angle which makes this image so interesting. Composition is good and colors excellent.

Great Job!
Jorbe

Hi Enrigue, This is a very nice image, with an excellent dof, and point of view, I love the way your eye is lead along the wooden walkway though the centre of the photograph and past the hut into the distant background, the sky colours are stunning, well framed and sharp as....Nice work, Cheers Rick

Hello Enrique,
Good POV chosen fot showing this salt mine.
I like how you have composed with the wooden walway.
Best regards,
Fabrice

Hello Enrique! Interesting composition and I especially like that the light up there was clicked on although the night was not completely there yet. It somehow gives a strange but for me beautiful atmosphere. You found an excellent solution for this one. We appreciate your effort :) Very modern, very special this one came out. Take care, Barbara.

Hi Enrique,

Yes, very nice shot. Like the light. A bit dark on the right, but it adds to the atmospere and the artificial light in it adds nicely to it as well. Nice one.

Greetings, Dennis

Hi Enrique,
good composition and colors, but the POV is great!

Hi Enrique,
I like the effect created by the wide-angle, gives it a kind of dynamic view to it which makes the whole image very pleasant to look at. Not in the last place your great play of light of course. The blue gradient is wonderful with the small stroke of orange/red sunlight in the far back....excellent work.
Regards, Henk

Your dedicated pp work really shows, but don't tell to much, leave it up to our own imagination ;-)

Formidable toma de las minas de sal de bani, yo diria que todo esta en su punto, hora, colores, motivo y tu punto de vista.
Perfecto.

Ciao Enrique,
excellent beautiful light enhanced by an attentive wideangle composition.
A smile
Luca

Hi, Enrique,
Very nice POV and a superb effect in the colors of the sky. Fine work, very unusual and eye-catching.
Regards and TFS.
Sergio

Interesting shot of this peculiar low-tech construction Enrique.

Not at all sure that I understand the technical side of this image's creation - but it seems to have worked! :)

colin

Nice shot Enrique. I love the tilted shack and tracks leading into and away from it make for a very interesting looking composition. The colors, especially the sky, look great with the sunset under the tracks and blue sky behind the building. Very nicely exposed showing detail in all but a few of the darkest areas. Just an interesting photo. Good framing as always and good note also...man vs. picture - I like that.

Great work.
John

Strong capture of light contrast to spot this house on the wooden construction in this salt planes, a perfect PP-editing work even more rewarding then lightroom, well done Enrique, using this workflow already for some time noticing it before as HDR-like, exolaining it to John just two days ago, you will notice. Your conversion done by CanonDPP or ACR ?
greetings
Henk

Hi Enrique, I think although you were running out of light, I still look at this shot & see a well constructed photo, the dim light has worked in your favour, giving a silent & peaceful atmosphere, the composition & good use of your POV have added strength, the focus is sharp & nice detail, kind regards Wilson.

Hola Enrique

Dominicana.
Una abraçada,
Josep

The low pov and the diagonal perspective work very well, here. The sense of depth is very good and the low light conditions are well managed. The range of colors obtained are also enjoyable here. Nice one!
Tfs and best wishes.

Hi Enrique
The perspective is interesting. The contrast is nice with the blue sky.
I like this picture for the great atmosphere you get.
Excellent

Hi Enrique,
Pretty sight in low-angle shot. The thin light and the dark aspect of the photograph give even more relief to this building which seems wabandonned. Sharpness is excellent.
Cheers,
Delphine

Hi Enrique

A wonderful (& subtle)warm vs cold color contrast, between the orange subset at left & the blue sky at right. Excellent sharpness, colour & graphism. A good upward pov. Tfs!

Hello Enrique,

a very nice informative photo, although I have not written for previous post in the serie, but I checked those,a very good serie.
and this one,has captured skilfully with reaching a fantastic faded colors for the sky.also the perspective is composed very well, the shot has a sulty silence :)
nicely done!
Best
M

Hi Enrique,

amazing light here and POV of course, very strange atmosphere....

Take care, Ivana

HOla ENrique
Tanto el lugar como la luz son muy engimaticos. EL angulo bajo desde donde has tomado la foto ayuda a darle un aire de misterio a la foto.
Un saludo
Daniel

Hi enrique,

this pic has a very good perspective, it opens the space also behind the building. Good job !

TFS Chris

nothing beats images from countries with very little yet improvises on anything around it. this is a great photo to prove this, here we live in luxury if anything we need we dail a simple number or click on the mouse but there they live the real life full of hardship.
you chose to take this shot during the best time dawn. well done

The contrasting colour of the sky is really interesting. The walkway doesn't look that trustworthy but it makes for a beautiful photograph.

Great composition!
Well done - Deb x
