Photographer’s Note

Last Friday I was going to La Romana (about two hours east of Santo Domingo)to spent the weekend and stoped at this beautiful place, my first time, it is a restaurant in front of the Caribbean Sea at Guayacanes Beach. Very nice and peaceful place, I hope you like it.

J'ai passé mes vacances en 2000 à Punta Cana et ta photo me rappelle beaucoup cet endroit.

Oh to be laying on that beach, tropical drink in my hand, sunscreen smells in the air! Beautiful, peaceful scene, this photo captures it all. I'll be so glad when winter is over! Thank you for posting this tropical paradise view. The blue sky is such a vivid color and the water so clear, well done.

It is very beautiful.
Not too much sky, not too much water, and not too many distracting things make this a nicely composed photo

A very nice picture with good composition, definition and colours, maybe at a very difficult time (near noon?) to get the best light. I have some pictures taken near this place, last year

You have found paradise! Fine sandy beaches, crystal clear tropical waters. Absolutel gorgeous.
I like that you took the shot at an angle, and not straight on. Makes for a much more pleasing photo I think.

Hey I like this perspective in this one. Lovely setting. I have not been to this place yet. It seems that the white sheets really make this photo. I also like your photo from inside the restaurant at the beach. Capuring flowing lines and beauty makes this and the other photo. If you can see it you can always create it.

Hi Emile,
Today we had our first few snowflakes so I thought I would return to some of your beautiful pictures. I can almost feel the heat of the sun warming me up.
I like those big nice clouds and also those palm trees parralel to the beach.

primero voy a comentar esta foto, que he visto en tu intro, y que me inspira una gran ilusión por conocer estos lugares algún día.
Es una foto que capta perfectamente la belleza de esta playa y sus instalaciones para disfrutar de unas fantásticas vacaciones.
Bella luz y bellos colores, en un buen contraste de la playa, el agua tan limpia y el verde de las palmeras.
