Photographer's Note

At some time have you fallen in love with a landscape or with a concrete place?
I did it for some perfect days of vacations in the Dominican Republic, when I discovered the most beautiful corners and enjoyed this magnificent beach, which I present you in this photo.

The five cabins on the sea of the private club "El Embarcadero" (The Pier), and these five coco-palms, inspired me this framing, in which the light of the late afternoon was creating an atmosphere full of tranquility and of calmness.

I liked so much, that I want to return there.

¿Alguna vez os habéis enamorado de un paisaje o de un lugar concreto?
Yo lo hice durante unos perfectos días de vacaciones en la República Dominicana, cuando descubrí rincones bellísimos y disfruté de esta playa magnífica, que os presento en esta foto.

Las cinco cabañas sobre el mar del club privado “El Embarcadero”, y los cinco cocoteros, me inspiraron este encuadre, en el que la luz del atardecer creaba una atmósfera llena de tranquilidad y de calma.

Me gustó tanto, que estoy deseando volver allí.

Bonsoir Josep,

Avec cette photo tu as réussi à transmettre une athmospehère de calme, de sérénité, de quiétude. Les couleurs sont particulièrement douces, toute en nuances. J'aime aussi cette composition avec les palmiers sur la gauche et un marge espace laissé libre pour ce magnifique ciel.
Excellent travail photo.

A nearly minimalstic picture - but a most beautiful one - with a skillful composition. Being there for us must be pure recreation, pure delight - but one must think of the fact that it is one of the poorest countries in the world.

un paesaggio da sogno, una costruzione dell'immagine pressoché perfetta.
Molto belle le palme sulla sinistra che fanno da cornice ad un paesaggio in cui il cielo è grande protagonista assieme alla luce ed a colori stupendi.

Dobar dan, kod nas i dalje mnogo hladno za ovo doba godine.

Une bien belle prise. J'aime comment les grands palmiers ferment le côté gauche de l'image et occupe le premier, donnant ainsi de la profondeur.

this is really a post card of this Paradise country.I like the huge palm trees that dominates the scene with the tiny native five cabins on the jetty,to complete the scenery.The pale afternoon light makes the scene so attractive,making the vacations there so memorable.Well done my friend.

Une bien belle carte postale sur ton séjour en République Dominicaine, il ne manque plus qu'un ou deux jolis oiseaux marins pour compléter le tableau. J'aime bien ton choix de cadrage utilisant la hauteur de ce cocotier mettant bien en valeur cet agréable ciel bleu et cette douce luminosité de fin de journée. Dépaysant coup d'oeil et merci pour la photo complémentaire Josep.

Vraiment, une paysage de rêves..!
Très intéressante composition, et surtout efficace avec les palmiers sur la gauche.

El aire tan elegante de estas altas palmeras forman una composicion muy elegante, los bungalows enmedio del mar transmiten la sensacion de tranquilidad y relax que en este paradisiaco rincon se hace realidad. La foto del WS corrobora lo antedicho.
El amplio azul del cielo y los tonos dorados del atardecer en las palmeras y playa crean un bello contraste.
Bello y cuidado trabajo amigo mio.

This is beautiful...like the framing with the 5 palm trees almost touching the sky. The cabins on the sea of "El Embarcadero" creates a fine focal point. Love the low horizon providing enough space for the clear sky & the soaring palm trees
