The Valley of Bonao, in the Dominican Republic, is known for its fertile lands and its bright green rice fields. Photo depicts early morning laborers farming the land and preparing it for seeding.
Camera: Nikon D100; Lens: Nikon 35~70mm ZOOM, f1.4 AF lens, polarizing filter employed.

Michael,
This photo has great color and lighting. I like you perspective and DOF.
The only thing that bothers me is the leaves or whatever is hanging down in the upper left corner of the photo, it is very distracting. I like everything else about the photo.

Welcome Michael!
Really a nice photo of the Dominican Republic, quite different from what we usually see. A good capture of country life.I like to see these men working in the rice fields, with the boys riding the horses and the birds around. It's really nice. It's just a pitty about these leaves in front.
