Photographer’s Note

This photo is going to be my last post in TE for the next 10 days, next week we're going to New York to spend Easter's Holidays, I'm going with all my family.

This photo was taken two weeks ago at Juan Dolio Beach with a beautiful day, very sunny and warm (temperature 80 degrees F), it was taken with my AF VR-Nikkor 80-400mm lens, I rested my camera on top of the baranda of an apartment in the 4th floor.
Not much to do except some cropping, sharpness and contrast.

Hi Emile,
Very nice photo from the beach, lovely sunny atmosphere. I like the fact that you didn't include any sky, just the sea in the background. Good capture of the people enjoying the sun in the foreground.

Une autre belle photo de plage d'un coin que je connais. J'aimerais bien m'y retrouver, la mer à toujours été calme quand je suis allé mais ici elle semble agitée. Excellente qualité d'image et superbes couleurs.

la verdad es que comento tus fotos con rapidez porque estoy pendiente de tus nuevas publicaciones para poder corresponder a tu amabilidad al comentar las mías.
Ahora veo ésta y su ambiente festivo, tranquilo y el día soleado me dan un poco de envidia, y muchas ganas de poder conocer estas bellas playas algún día.
Tu nueva lente es fantástica, y la calidad de imagen es muy alta a pesar de trabajar con un 400mm.
Me gusta esa gran luminosidad y los colores tan vivos y naturales.
Es una toma muy bonita, y bien realizada.

Una toma como mucha luminosidad, sin duda, pero no estropea ningun elemento ni ninguna zona.

Es una toma simples, aparentemente cuasi casual, pero además de muy invitadora, está muy bien compuesta, con colores y luz muy lindas. Los dos bancos en primer plano, el flotador verde, los reflejos brillantes en el agua y la compresión de perspectiva de la tele me agradan particularmente.

thanks for your wishes of good Eastern Holidays. I hope you have peaceful time with your family in NYC. I will go to the Death Valley during these days and hope to find calmness in the desert, something that I also can see in this post. Good compression factor that gives the illusion that the people are almost sitting in the water.

Nice shot with excellent colours. The beach seem nice and clean here with very good colour of the water.

I like the POV and framing here with the horizontal layers of the beach, sea and wave divinding the image nicely in three parts. Colors and sharpness are also fine.

This is a pleasant, nicely layered composition!
The dominating blue colours comes in many shades, fine details in the water including the surf...
The few dots of other colours make nice contrasts!

You should go to Bali (Indonesia)to enjoy also the beach sometimes, cause I saw your other photos, you've never been in southeast Asia.

Hola Emile, this is a nostalgic image that reminds me of the warm days of summer at the beach. Nice view from a distance with a good use of the zoom. I feel like a spectator of the scene but at the same time, I feel the same as the members of that family watching the waves breaking one after another all day long - that's what I call a good relaxing day :)
