Sunset at Guavaberry Photo

Photographer’s Note

Last month I went with a group of friends photographers to capture some photos in a cloud forest near Juan Dolio, few miles from San Pedro de Macoris and near a Golf Resort Guavaberry and about 45 minutes drive from Santo Domingo and spent the day trying to take pictures of birds in a small pond, but I found this beautiful sunset at the time the sun was disappearing in the horizon and we were going to return to Santo Domingo. About the birds there were very few birds and to many photographers.

Quel beau coucher de solei let quelle merveilleuses couleurs d'oranger, un plaisir pour les yeux. Les silhouettes des palmiers sont fantastiques et le soleil est pris juste au bon moment où il entre dans les nuage. Excellente photo.

A really good photo of this gorgeous sunset with such pleasant warm colours in the sky, that are also well saturated. The silhouettes of the palms are, of course, a great inclusion in the foreground. Thanks for sharing!

qué maravilla de puesta de sol, y qué bien combinada con las siluetas de las palmeras en contraluz.
Los tonos dorados y anaranjados son muy bellos y atraen nuestros ojos con un gran magnetismo.

WOW!! What a beautiful sunset. I saw a few in Hawaii but none compare with this one. The palm trees are also quite nice to look at. Did you have to use a tripod?

Hacer foto de pájaros en grupo no suena muy buena idea, a no ser que la verdadera intención sea pasar un buen momento con amigos. Pero aunque que la "presa" no sea la planeada, me parece que la "cazada" valió la pena, pues lograste un poner de sol muy bonito, con el gran disco solar encuadrado por las siluetas de las palmas y un cielo de fuego.
La única cosa menos bien es el "esfumado" en las hojas de palmera, que parece resultar de algún filtro para "suavizar" el cielo.

Este es mi momento preferido del día, cuando el Sol se oculta todo cambia y lo normal se vuelve espectacular, aquí lograste un buen contraluz, las siluetas de los árboles son buena compañía para ese fantástico Sol, lo bueno que tienen este tipo de disparos es que la luz nuca falta y podemos disparar sin necesidad de trípode, gracias por compartir esta imagen.

A very nice sunset scene, quite similar to what we see on our country with the setting sun fringed by the silhouette of the leaves of the coconut palm & the grading colours in the sky.. Very nice...well done!

The huge sun dipping below horizon in a colourful scene, nicely framed by the silhouetted palm trees...
