A small lizard I met in the "El Limon" village after the ride to the "Salto Del Limon" I told you about yesterday. I found its green skin quite interesting against the wood painted red. Just as if even animals wanted to show the festive spirit of the country...
I took it under the roof of a big building and had to set ISO to 200 to have enough light.
Original framing, adjusted contrast and applied USM.

Hi Steven !
I'm impressed you did not use your teleconverter for this one. That means that you had to approach very close... Congratulations, the result is perfect, and this festival of colours is enjoyable.

Great capture Steven - I love the colors! I thought these guys were supposed to use camouflage...

A simple but effective composition. I like the plain colours against each other.
I feel this would be even stronger if you cropped it to basically just leave the lizard and the wood; both for the simplicity of the colours and to increase the relative size of the lizard.

This is very nice, because of the colors and the sharpness in the texture of the painted wood. Perharps a different composition would help : I think the subject is too much centered, so, I propose a WS with a cropping of the lower part of the image, that present not so much interesting (dark shadow). This place the lezard in the lower part, offcentering it.

Great colors, good clarity. I would also crop a closer view, since some of the left seems a little distracting. Good job compensating for the dark, I think.

very suprising image.
i would probably crop a little more,
but the colors are just : woooooooooow
